As part of the "Go Green with Tetra Pak campaign" SCWRM in collaboration with SCOPE, conducted an interactive awareness session along with local partner ProEarth Ecosystems, to demonstrate support for environmental protection and engage in an initiative that promotes sustainability by recycling used Tetra Pak cartons. As a proud partner of this impactful program, we aim to educate and empower young minds to take responsible actions for a greener future.

Dr. Pooja Singh (Symbiosis Centre for Waste Resource Management) and Dr. Mokgadi Hlongwane (Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa) were declared the winners of Elsevier Foundation Chemistry for Climate Action Challenge, 2025. Dr. Singh is revolutionizing menstrual hygiene with biodegradable sanitary pads made from water hyacinth, a problematic invasive species in India while empowering women in rural communities. Dr. Hlongwane (Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa) research is ensuring that local medicinal plants can thrive in the face of climate change, benefiting local communities and farmers.
